Seah is the Founder and CEO of Medicovestor, Inc., with over 25 years of leadership experience in academia and industry. His background in drug development and biotech includes roles as a Product Development Consultant for Bausch Health, Genzyme, and Burroughs Wellcome, and Pediatric Lead in the Global Program at Sanofi. He was also an Independent Director at Emmaus Medical, Inc and is currently the Corporate Scientific and Business Advisor for Genie Therapeutics. As a physician-scientist, Seah combines scientific, clinical, and payor reimbursement expertise.
Seah holds a degree in Medicine from Aberdeen University, Scotland, and completed his MD and PhD training in cytokines and cell therapy at University College London and antibody engineering at Cambridge University. He has held leadership positions at Brown University and University of Pittsburgh.
An internationally recognized translational physician-scientist, Seah has made significant discoveries, holds 7 patents, and published over 180 papers, with more than 5000 citations. He has attracted over $18M in research funding, including from the National Cancer Institute. Seah remains an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Upstate Medical University and serves as Section Editor for the Journal of Translational Medicine.
