Phong Tran, USNR (Ret.), President & CEO of SirnaMed, brings 32 years of diverse experience in the pharmaceutical industry, contributing to 11 INDs and 4 NDAs across pharmacology research roles at Pfizer, Regulus Therapeutics, Ionis Pharmaceuticals, Arena Pharmaceuticals, and Cortex Pharmaceuticals.
Phong was recently served as Interim CEO at Bound Therapeutics, a US-based peptide-conjugate-microRNA start-up, Senior Director of RNA Pharmacology and Subject-Matter-Expert at WuXi AppTec, a global CRDMO company and Founding Director of Business Development for Biotech and Biopharmaceutical Division at Alfa Sigma/Alfa Wassermann, an EU and US-based medical biotechnology company.
He also served as a Staff Research Associate at the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, Department of Pharmacology.
