Maximiliano Kunze-Küllmer is a business and operations executive with a track record of internationalizing groundbreaking platform technologies and company building in the life sciences industry. With a Master's in Biomedical Engineering from Duke University and a certificate in venture finance and law from UC Berkeley, Max uniquely combines robust technical expertise with strategic business acumen.
During his tenure at Cells for Cells (C4C), Max led negotiations and secured significant capital from private investors and national grants, and played a pivotal role in the internationalization and legal restructuring of the chilean biotech. Furthermore, he successfully led the spin off of proprietary exosome technology, establishing a U.S.-based corporation dedicated to pioneering nanotherapeutics and targeted drug delivery vehicles.
As co-founder of EVast Bio, Max is channels his experience across three continents, his unyielding drive and his passion for transformative innovation into propelling the company as a frontrunner in extracellular vesicle-based therapies. Additionally to developing and realizing the EVast' vision, Max is an invited member of the Business Development & Finance Committee at the International Society for Cell & Gene Therapy, where he advocates for more substantial investment in the CGT sector.
