As the co-founder of Cells for Cells, the first Chilean biotech company focused on the research, development, and commercialization of advanced therapies, he has successfully secured over USD 40 million in private and public funding and established benchmarks of excellence in Latin America.
A strategic connector, Matías has spearheaded the creation of university spin-offs, innovation consortia such as Hub-Tec Chile, and industry associations like ProSalud Chile, fostering collaboration between companies and universities. His approach blends humanistic leadership with the ability to manage complex networks and projects, consistently delivering impactful results in both academic and business sectors.
