A serial bioentrepreneur with >15y of industry experience in leading interdisciplinary teams combining Biotechnology, Applied Immunology, and Big Data in various medical applications including Therapeutics, Medical devices, and Digital Health, raising in aggregate >$350M and taking products from an idea to commercialization. Dr. Oved co-founded MeMed Dx, served as its Chairman and CTO for over a decade, and led the inception, development, regulation, and manufacturing of the entire MeMed technology suite, including the MeMed BV™, and the MeMed Key™ platform, from an idea on a napkin to development completion. Dr. Oved is a distinguished scientific entrepreneur with a B.A. in Biology (Summa-Cum-Laude), a B.Sc. in Medicine (Magna-Cum-Laude), a Ph.D. in Immunology, and six years of training at the Technion School of Medicine (M.D.). He co-authored >100 granted/pending patents, published >35 peer-reviewed papers, and received prestigious awards, including the Gutwirth Excellence Award and the Wolf Award for research students. Dr. Oved was a founding member of Navina.ai, an AI-driven health-tech company, where he served as Chief Strategy Officer. In 2020, he founded Canopy Immuno-Therapeutics, a stealth-mode biotechnology company focused on developing a groundbreaking immunotherapeutic platform targeting autoimmune diseases, with the potential to deliver non-immunosupressive, potentially curative therapies.
