Kelly Shi covers small- to mid-cap biotechnology companies at Jefferies LLC. After a short stay in healthcare consulting, she joined Jefferies in 2017 and became a covering analyst following two years of equity research experience. Before Jefferies, Kelly completed a post-doctorate fellowship at Columbia University Cancer Center. She received her Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from the University of UMASS Medical Center and her B.S. in Biomedical Sciences from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). She also holds an MBA with focus in Health Sector Management and Investment from Duke’s Fuqua Business School.
