Arda Ural, PhD is the EY Americas Life Sciences Sector Leader. In this role, he is in service to EY life sciences professionals in North and South America, helping them to solve our clients’ most pressing issues at the C-suite level, building a sector community and upholding the principles of One EY.
Arda has a proven track record in pharma, biotech and med tech industry with 30 years of experience in general management, corporate strategy, marketing, new product development, and M&A including acquisitions, spins, divestitures and mergers.
Prior to joining EY, Arda was a Managing Director at another leading strategy firm, where he led the firm’s Life Sciences M&A Practice for six years. Earlier, Arda worked as a VP of Strategic Marketing and a BU Lead at Becton Dickinson, a leading medical technology company. He also served as the SVP Marketing & Sales for a start-up biotechnology company Eyetech which concluded its IPO and later acquired by Astellas.
He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences, co-authors articles and regularly conducts media interviews in the life sciences industry. Recently, Arda was named a “Standout Leader” in the prestigious 2024 PharmaVoice 100.
