Abhijit Bhatia is the COO of Rakuten Medical Inc. and is responsible for global strategy and operations, Global Corp. & Business Dev. and Clinical functions. He is Chairman of Board at Medlight, Rakuten Medical Taiwan and Rakuten Medical Pvt. Ltd (India). He has led partnership deals with large and mid-stage pharma and academia – as well as M&A – globally and played an instrumental role in fundraising of over $500 Million for Rakuten Medical. Abhijit has over 20 years experience in Biopharma and has previously held Scientific and Management roles at Amgen, Celgene, Abraxis Bioscience. Abhijit received his MS In Chemical Engineering form CSU, Ohio and MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
