Abhijit is responsible for Global Strategy and Operations, Global Crop. & Business Dev. and Clinical functions. He is the chairman of the board at Medlight, Rakuten Medical Taiwan and Rakuten Medical Pvt. Ltd (India). He has led partnership deals with large and mid-stage pharma and academia, as well as M&A, fundraising of over $600 Million for Rakuten Medical.
Abhijit has over 20 years of experience in Biopharma and has previously held scientific and management roles at Amgen, Celgene, Abraxis Bioscience. Abhijit received his MS in Chemical Engineering from CSU, Ohio, and an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
